Who we are

Mintround is operated by Upix OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (the data controller). Contact: hello@mintround.com.

Investor listings

Mintround lists professional investors so founders can reach them. For listed investors we process professional data only: name, role, firm, firm domain, business email address, public investment preferences (stages, sectors, check size, thesis), and the source the record came from. We collect this from public sources such as fund websites and professional directories, and from licensed data providers. We do not process private or sensitive personal data.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in connecting founders with professional investors in their professional capacity. Business contact details are shown only to paying users who unlock a specific listing, never published openly or sold in bulk, and every listing carries a visible removal link.

Buyers and wallets

Buyers use Mintround without an account. We store an anonymous wallet token in your browser (functional storage, not advertising tracking), your balance and unlock history, and, if you purchase, the email address you give at checkout for receipts and wallet recovery. Payments are processed by Stripe as merchant of record; we never see your card details.

Processors and hosting

We use a small set of processors: Neon (database, hosted in the EU, Frankfurt), Vercel (application hosting), Stripe (payments, merchant of record), Resend (transactional email), Icypeas (verification of professional contact data), Upstash (rate limiting), and PostHog (EU-hosted product analytics, on by default and switchable off anytime). We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Investor records are kept while they are current; addresses that fail re-verification are cleared, and removed listings are suppressed permanently so they cannot return. Removal requests are kept as an audit trail of the request itself. Buyer wallets are kept while in use.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, or portability at any time. The fastest path for listed investors is the removal request form; we review requests within 7 to 14 business days and always within the one-month period the GDPR requires. For anything else, email hello@mintround.com. You can also complain to a supervisory authority: the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) or the authority in your country.

Storage on your device

We use browser localStorage for your wallet token and theme choice; these are functional, not advertising. Product analytics (PostHog, EU-hosted) is on by default, stores its data in localStorage rather than cookies, collects no personal data, and can be switched off at any time via Privacy choices in the footer.

Changes

We will update this notice as the product evolves and change the date above when we do.
